Covid-19 Alert Levels 4 & 3
At Alert level 4 and 3 you must phone the practice first 3471667. We cannot let you in without speaking with you by phone first (or email).
Urgent examinations only can be arranged, this is where you cannot wait for the alert level to drop.
Or re-issue of contact lenses where you are currently wearing your last pair.
Or a repair and straighten of glasses.
You will be asked questions to clarify your health connected to Covid-19 symptoms. We appreciate your understanding the reasons for this.
You may be directed to the Public Hospital Eye clinic.
In-practice procedures
At Alert level 4 and 3 our staff have been inducted on the equipment and steps to follow when you attend the practice, as prepared by the NZ Assoc. Optometrists and RANZCO.
We have PPE (masks, gloves, eyewear and microscope shield). We have disinfection protocols and cleaning solutions for this when you attend the practice and for during your examination.
